Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All

Merry Christmas everyone. I am getting really excited about my first Christmas. Thanksgiving was fun and tasty, but all I keep hearing is that Christmas is going to be even better. Mom's had Christmas music playing for a month now at home, and the whole house smells like a Christmas tree.

I've asked the girls to keep an eye out for the fat guy in the red suit I met at Phipp's. He said he may swing by in late December if I'm good...well I've been good, so I put the pups on watch...see below:
Here is my newest trick...I told Dad to let go, but he would not.
Yep, that is an awesome hat and overalls combo. Thanks Grandmas K and Babs.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Holidays to all my family and friends. Everyone have fun and be safe this holiday season.

Santa and Cooper...

...met for the first time today (on the eve of Coop's first Thanksgiving). Today Dad and Cooper got to hang out all day, and it was awesome.

Notice in the pictures below Cooper's very festive little outfit. Not only was it festive, but it was also a heck of a challenge to put on the little lad. Dad dressed him like a pro though.
Cooper loved his time with Santa, and in no uncertain terms, he outlined his Christmas list to the jolly old St. Nick...50" LCD, new laptop... just to name a couple...
Here we see Cooper's further displaying his rollover prowess...

...Santa Claus is coming to my house too???? WOW!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Halloween, Election, and Circus Tricks...

Halloween was a blast. Cooper enjoyed a dinner party at Miss Meriwether's house, a neighborhood party and 2 different costumes. He started the evening in a Hawaiian outfit (pictured below) and ended it dressed as a bunny rabbit (not pictured).

Meriwether dressed as a Tootsie Roll, and here's Cooper without his bunny ears .
Thanks for my "Boo" outfit Miss Katie.

After Halloween, Cooper enjoyed his first presidential election...good thing he fell asleep before the results were in...

Proof of Cooper's newest trick...Roll over Coop!
Today was definitely a sweater day in Hotlanta...

Saturday in the Park

We spent Saturday at Aunt Meg and Uncle Josh's house where we watched the Georgia game with Grandma K and Grandpa D. After the game, we walked down to Keswick Park for the "Jack-O-Lantern Festival" and a few trips down the slide.

Dad and I drove a wooden fire truck here...

My red G-onesy is still undefeated this season after a victory over Vandy...

Here I am with Grandma..we hung out all day, it was awesome!

It was a snug fit for Dad and I going down the covered slide, but we made it.

Yep--camo pants...I rule!

Cooper's Surprise visit to Great Grandma and Great Grandfather

On Tuesday following his Baptism, Cooper and Mom flew down to Florida unannounced for a surprise visit to Great Grandma Doodles and Great Grandfather. Doodles was completely surprised and really excited...

Great Grandfather was in on the secret plans...
We had a wonderful time at La Posada...
Tuesday night, we went over to Aunt Pat and Uncle Alex's house for a dinner party...

Doodles was holding and feeding little Cooper immediately...

Cooper cannot wait to get back to Florida for another visit. It was a special trip. We love you Doodles and Bud.

Baptism of Cooper Douglas

Last weekend was Cooper's Baptism at Cathedral of Christ the King. We had an amazing and event filled weekend.

Friday Night: Cocktails and dinner at Coop's place.

Here is Cooper and Aunt Marie, who flew in with Uncle Tom from L.A. Bon Jour Aunt Marie...
Cooper and Uncle Tom "cruised" all weekend long. Here are Tom and Cooper having a chat...
Uncle Pete came in from Mississippi for the weekend extravaganza...
Saturday Morning: Cooper's Baptism

It was a perfect morning...
The church was gorgeous...
...and Mom, Dad and Cooper looked pretty good too...
Haber, the Lawson's and the Bird's all joined in for the ceremony. Cooper finally got to meet Will, Michael and Alexis.

Cooper was really well behaved throughout the ceremony, but who wouldn't cry if someone dumped 3 cups of holy water on your head?
Uncle Skip, Cooper's Godfather, flew in from Vegas and met Cooper for the first time.
Godparents Skip and Jennifer will make outstanding spiritual advisors. Here we all are up on the altar...
Cooper and his Godparents...
We enjoyed brunch at the Horseradish Grill.
Will and Cooper with Katie and Grandma Babs...
Cooper requested an 'aviators' only brunch...

Here, Cooper is explaining to Will that he was wearing a 'gown' earlier, not a dress...Will isn't buying it...
Cooper's baptism weekend was incredible. We want to send a special thank you out to all of our family and friends.

Odds and Ends...

Here is Cooper on his tummy-time surfboard wearing his surfboard t-shirt...an accident? I think not. Thanks for the outfit Darren.
Dad and I attempting to ride a airplane-springy thing at the park...this did not end well.
That's my Uncle Skip. He flew in from Vegas for the weekend, and we went to the park on Sunday. We were later attacked by a red-tailed hawk, but that's a story for another day.
