Summer Pics

We've had a nice August. Dad hung a swing from our big tree in the front yard...it's pretty fun.

I was double booked a couple of Saturdays ago with 2 birthday parties in a row...First I went to Luke's 2nd birthday party, it was a cowboy party.

Next, I cruised up to Watkinsville for my buddy Will's first b-day party...I rode a John Deere tractor.

...and I walked all over the joint. It was a great party.
Last weekend Mom, Dad and I went to the zoo....it was awesome dude. Those elephants are large, and they eat a lot of bamboo.

I've begun training for the 2029 Tour de France...I only hope Lance is still competing so I can take on the best.

I am sitting in an empty baby pool, fully clothed and holding an empty watering can...not sure how to make this look cool.
We are gearing up for college football season and another great year for the Bulldogs. Hope your summer has been terrific and I can't wait to see everyone soon.
Later Dudes...CDM.

Congrats Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Ethan

Howdy partners. Dad's been on mental vacation lately after all of our big events, but I've whipped him back into shape for this long awaited posting. Jennifer and Ethan's wedding weekend was spectacular.

The weekend was so much fun that we all forgot to take pictures. I was able to find a few for this post, but Dad will have to post an update when we get new pictures. Here are the bride and groom just before the rehearsal dinner...

Looking good, feeling good Great Grandfather...

Dad was had at work in the catering truck while we had fun...Thanks Dad, those lemon and lime wedges were pub-quality...

Here are Grandma Babs and Grandpa Stu shortly after the beautiful event. Everything was perfect...

Auntie JP...looking lovely with her newlywed glow...way to go dude! See, I really was there...I am going to have to have a serious talk with all of the "photographers" in the family...entirely too few Cooper pics.
I will update again with new pictures when some new photos surface from the weekend. It was great. We had a terrific time with family and friends for 4+ days.

Thank you Grandma Babs and Grandpa Stu for hosting us all for such an amazing and eventful weekend....Now, I'm going to have Dad post some quality Cooper-centric photos and get this blog back on task...CDM.

My 1st Birthday Party

Hello friends -- Fear not, Coop is back. It has been a heck of a couple weeks with my 1st birthday and Aunt Jennifer's wedding back-to-back.

Mom planned a quite the circus gala to celebrate my first year of domination....

We had a chalkboard...

...and a tent...

...a Clown cake brought to you by Edgar's in Birmingham...FYI-we just hit medallion status in their million calorie rewards program...we qualify for double icing/filling on our next cake...

Grandma K and Babs look bored...wait, just kidding. They were LOVING it!

Clowns....hmmmm, not so sure. "...listen lady, I hear what you're saying, but you are creeping me out. Your hair is purple and you've been balancing that tea cup on your head for like 2 hours...and you are a close talker."

Will Lawson + Cooper Murphy = Ratings.

I think I lasted like 38 seconds on the chair for Miss Teacup's magic show. The big kids (Dad) liked it, but I was over it and back to the bubbles with a quickness.

Wow, I'm not sure how this photo didn't end up on the cutting room floor...not my best likeness.

Yep, Grandpa's D and Stu were there too. Clearly, this picture is an instant classic...nice hats gramps's. (Ethan, did I get that apostrophe right?)

It was a spectacular party, thanks Mom. Thanks also to all my friends and family that came to share it with me.

Coming Soon....Aunt Jennifer and Uncle (its official now Unc) Ethan's wedding extravaganza...we laughed, we danced, they wedded.

Also, I am taking steps like a pro...I took 17 steps today and many 8-15 steppers too. I'm really getting the hang of this, and it won't be long before I qualify for the title "toddler"....but for now, I will have to settle for the title "AWESOME"....Ha!

Hope to see you soon (and I can't wait to see Aunt BEEEE in October!!)

Happy Trails...CDM.
