Hello and Happy 2013 Friends. Anne Colins and I kicked off the New Year by taking Mom, Dad, Mimi and Stu on a Disney Cruise to the warm and sunny Florida Keys and The Bahamas. Key West, Nassau and Castaway Cay.
Key West - I give it a half a thumb on a scale of zero to two thumbs UP. Great key lime pie, but I was ready to get back to the Mickey slide on the boat. Dad and Stu would probably give a better rating as they stayed ashore for something called a Key West pub crawl - Sloppy Joe's, Hog's Breath, and Green Parrot - sounds immature to me, but whatever Dad.
Nassau - Zero Thumbs. Back to the boat.
Castaway Cay - Two thumbs WAY up! Double high sign!! Disney's island is amazing. There is a 3 story water slide in the middle of the bay, and Dad and I went down it like 8 times....then I ditched Dad and went down another 10 times solo.
Overall rating from Cooper and Anne Colins Murphy Travel Guide is 2 THUMBS UP! It was a blast of a trip. My favorite thing of the cruise was Castaway Cay and the Mickey Pool + slide. Anne Colins' favorite thing to do was chase the princesses on the ship (many princess pix below).
