Mid-July Update

July has been terrific thus far... We celebrated the 4th last weekend and wished a happy birthday to America and (more importantly according to some) a very happy birthday to Auntie Jennifer...we had a terrific 4th of July in Big Canoe. Now, Dad and I are enjoying excellent coverage of the Tour de France, and we're looking forward to watching Lance for another 2 weeks...its great! By the way, I'd like to see Lance try to ride one of these....

Michael and Alexis Bird came over for a visit a couple weeks ago...I bet Dad and Uncle Bird never had this much fun back in their day.

Hmmmm....Yes, Jadeyn and I shared a lovely afternoon at the Chattahoochee River Nature Center. Notice my newest trick..."Sharing"...though its rarely performed and never on command.

Hot tub, poppin' bubbly...Dad and I took a soak in Grandpa's hot tub in the mountains of Big Canoe...(no need for concern, it was only a lukewarm tub in this pic)...

Deep Thoughts, by Cooper...I like to stop sometimes and reflect on life and the fun we are having...see above for a Cooper moment of reflection....Well, enough of that because we still have a hectic agenda this month and for the rest of the summer. Mom says I "turn 1" soon, though I'm not entirely sure what that means. She seems to be making a big deal out of it, so I'm just going with the flow. Also, Aunt JP and Uncle Ethan will be married in just a few weeks...its going to be an incredible weekend long party that I've quietly dubbed "Pennington Palooza/McDaniel Mania 2009"...I may have t-shirts and BevNaps made.
