Turkey Day 2010

Hello friends. Dad and I have some catching up to do on the blog today, so hold on to your hats and glasses people.

Thanksgiving 2010 was ages ago by now (today we are in 2011), and it was a blast. As Mom's last trip greater than an hour from home before Anne Colins arrives, we headed to our favorite mountain getaway...Mimi and Stu's pad. Mimi and Stu hosted Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Ethan and we Murphys for a beautiful feast.

Here is a photo of Dad and I enjoying a spectacular afternoon out of doors. I'm in my second outfit since arrival 20 minutes earlier, and Dad has, evidently, missed at least one button....

Mimi set a gorgeous table - and kids table - for our feast. While I enjoyed the quiet table to myself, I'm looking forward to a lively dinner conversation with my new kids table mate, Anne Colins, next Turkey Day.

Dad is a HAM...my dirt digger and I are just trying to enjoy our dinner here, and Dad wants to pose for another picture....It appears from this shot that the blog hog has also forgotten his socks....HAHA - Love you Dad.

After dinner, Dad, Grandpa Stu, Aunt Jennifer and I eased down the hill to Cherokee #3 fairway to swing the sticks.

Thanksgiving was amazing. Special thanks to Mimi and Stu for having everyone up for a fun long holiday weekend. With our new addition in 2011, next year should be wild...CDM.
